Lindsey Vonn is an American skier who was born on October 18, 1984. She retired in 2010 after winning four World Cup races and the Olympic gold medal in downhill skiing. Her name is a second place to the top of the world in super scores amongst female or male skiers. She's one of the world's greatest skiers as well as the most popular American skier. Caroline Vonn, also known by the name Lindsey Vonn, is an American World Cup alpine racer who is a member of the US Ski Team. She is the four-time winner of World Cup. She is an athlete with a lot of fame in American time. She's one of just six females in the history of sports to have won the five World Cup races for alpine-skiing. Overall, she's won 82 World Cup championships. The top skier of all time, and most successful American racer of all time in skiing have announced their retirement after this year's World Championship in Sweden. Four times World Cup winner decided to retire after battling a variety of illnesses. Social media was her way to announce her decision to retire.
