Ina-Garten
Ina Garden is an American cookbook writer who has been awarded Emmy awards. She hosts the oldest Food Network program, Barefoot Contessa. The show began in 2002. The show will run for 27 more seasons. Ina Garten started her career as a journalist at the White House where she wrote the nuclear energy policy as well as budget reports. Though she initially found it intellectually stimulating she eventually stopped her interest. So she purchased a Barefoot Contessa a small speciality food store. Before selling the business the store, she worked for 18 years building it into a highly successful store. There were many more cookbooks as well as magazine columns that came later. In the meantime, her Food Network show was also a success. She also sells everything from equipment to cooking supplies and containers. Ina, who is self-taught she has never attended an institution for cooking or an establishment. She is an easy cook, and also for her entertaining cooking style. Her most well-known recipes include easy recipes like Skillet Roasted Lemon Chicken Macaroni, Cheese and made with beef Bourguignon, and the Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts.
