Luciana Paoluzzi and Maria Rota Paoluzzi were raised in Rome. Luciana Paoluzzi is the child of Manlio Paoluzzi (an Italian military officer) and Maria Rota Paoluzzi (a mistress to Benito Mussolini). Luciana does not have known siblings. Luciana was a graduate of a local high-school in 1955 and went on to study naval engineering in Milan, at the Scientific Academy of Milan. Luciana, the only female of her class was the first graduate. Luciana began as fashion models after only two years. Her professional career took a turn afterwards, when by pure luck, she was offered her first acting role in Three Coins in the Fountain. Brett Halsey, an actor himself, was her first spouse. They made Return to the Peyton Palace in 1960 after they were married. The couple was blessed with a son named Charles born on the 13th of June 1961. They divorced just a year after his birth and Luciana received custody. Luciana was involved in a romantic affair with Tony Anthony between 1962 until the year 1970. He was an actor and producer who was inspired to create and write the Spaghetti Western hybrid based on her character in the film as Green Slime.
